Dr Mohini Prasad completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Fiji in 2001, and ran her own medical practice there for 7 years, before moving to Australia.

Mohini obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014, and has since continued to build a successful practice in suburban Brisbane. Apart from her love for all aspects of General Practice (with particular interest in the areas of Adolescent, Mental Health and Aged Care), Mohini’s true passion lies in Women’s Health – and it’s this passion that has led her to the Lillian Cooper Centre.

Her background includes 4 years of vocational clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and she also has experience in IUD insertions and removals.

Mohini completed her Certificate in Family Planning from Monash University (2007) and a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors from Family Planning Alliance Australia (2021).

She is also aligned with the Mater Mother’s and Metro North Antenatal Care.

In her spare time, Mohini contributes to an Australian NGO, Health In Kind for community outreach medical programs, working with children and adolescents.

Mohini also enjoys reading, travelling and outdoor adventures and sports with her son.
