Rachel consults from the Lilian Cooper Women's Health Centre on Mondays, and Fridays between 10am and 2pm. Wednesdays between 10am and 5pm.

Rachel has been working as a Psychologist for over 20 years in a variety of public and private sector hospital, community and educational settings in Brisbane, Sydney, Cambridge (UK) and Canberra.
She is a full member of the APS and has extensive experience in assisting people to deal with a wide range of psychological conditions including: Anxiety (panic attacks, social phobia, OCD); depression; trauma (PTSD, adult survivors of sexual abuse); eating disorders and grief and loss.
Rachel also helps people to manage challenges that arise at different life stages such as: navigating adolescence; workplace stress and burn out; assertion and communication skills; relationship issues; parenting issues and adjustment to medical diagnosis. Rachel has a special interest in women’s health and supports women with issues such as: fertility; pregnancy; sexuality; postnatal depression and menopause. She is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society.
Rachel has trained in a variety of evidence-based psychological therapies such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
Rachel works collaboratively with people and enjoys seeing them move on to live happier and more fulfilling lives. Her approach is built on trust, respect, warmth and compassion.
